  2. Make it attractive by applying a design or using graphics

  3. Add ACTION BUTTONS to your presentation

  4. Have your PowerPoint LINK TO OTHER SLIDES within the presentation

  5. ONE HYPERLINK to a web site

  6. Standards of good writing and good visual design

Ways to Upload PowerPoint

There are different ways that you can upload your INTERACTIVE PowerPoint, but it is very similar to how you uploaded your Spreadsheet project. Here are two example of how you can do this.

Example 1: Save as Web Page - This is how it looks - The advantage of this is anyone can open it.

1. Open PowerPoint - Choose the Save As option - in the Save as Type text box choose as a web page. PowerPoint creates two items in this process a web page and a folder with the same name. You will need both of these to make the web page work.

2. Open Expression - From the File Menu choose Import then File. (You can also drag the files into the folder in Expressions. This was demonstrated in class.)

3. You will need to add both the HTM File and the Folder that has the same name as the HTM file. (You can also drag the folder into the folder in Expressions. This was demonstrated in class.)

4. Then on your web page create a link to the HTM file.

Example 2: Upload the PowerPoint file - This is how it looks - This opens in PowerPoint . If the person who is viewing your website does not have PowerPoint they cannot open your file. However, you can also access the file and update it.

1. Open Expression - From the File Menu choose Import then File. (You can also drag the folder into the folder in Expressions. This was demonstrated in class.)

2. You will need to add just the PowerPoint File

3. Then on your web page create a linked to the PowerPoint file.
