| Monday On Monday we went to a farm near Mead,
Nebraska. It was the UNL agricultural research center. We learned about
dairy cows, what they eat, and how they're raised. We also got to stick our
hands inside of a live cow's stomach and felt how the food was being
digested. (It was sick *bleh)

| Tuesday On Tuesday we went to the zoo and
learned about the veterinarians there and how they take care of animals.
Then we walked around the zoo, looking at animals and taking pictures. |

| Wednesday On Wednesday
we went to the humane society and got a "behind the scenes" tour. We learned
about the diseases in animals and animal cruelty. We also learned how
animals can get adopted and weird surrender cases. It was really sad, but
all the animals were SOOO cute!

| Thursday On Thursday we went
to Spaghetti Works in downtown Omaha and had lunch. We rode in a trolley and
had a bunch of fun! |

| Friday Friday was our last day. There were no
field trips today- just working on stuff. We woke up (unwillingly) and went
to breakfast. The rest of the day was spent working on websites and getting
ready for graduation. We've had a lot of fun at the Latina Summer Academy.
We'll remember the friends we've made forever! |
