June 11 We arrived at CSM and I started talking to some of the girls.  They were great I couldn't wait to meet my room mate‼ I finally met  her at the end of Icebreakers.  Now I Can't wait to go to sleep. But then we got together at the  third floor were we talked until 10. Then after that we were sent away to our rooms to unpack and finally go to sleep! When I arrived at the college of Saint Mary, I was nervous because I didn't know if I would be able to get along with my roommate. But it turns out that I got along with her really great! When I got there, I was sent to my room, where I unpacked, and made myself at home. After that I went to the art gallery where they had a welcome meeting and explained what it was going to be about. Then our parents left, we said our goodbyes, and went to another room, where we played a game of icebreakers. Then we met our roommates, and finally went to sleep. June 12 Today we started our Web Pages. It took us a while to get started but we managed!! we also got our ID pictures taken today!  Mine came out ok. After we got our ID's we went on a scavenger hunt !  We had to look for many things and many people.  Some of then were crazy like we had to look for an orange! And a napkin and a pen that writes green!  it took us for ever! we were running all over CSM!  We wanted to win bad1 But all of our hard work and running  finally paid off1 We won first place!!!! we were just missing one thing ! and that was a pamphlet on nutrition ! We had it ready to go but we lost it some where on campus! But we won so I'm happy!!! Today, we woke up, got up, and went to go eat breakfast. After eating, we went straight to our first class, Technology, and learned how we are going to make a webpage. After that, we went to a meeting room, to get together with our groups, to go on a scavenger hunt. We got disqualified because, we were like ten minutes late. But we had fun. I was like really tired. But anyways, I think that after that, we went to go take our I'D pictures, and my " amigas " made me laugh so mine came out messed up. Then I think we went to lunch, and the food was amazing.... But they fed us like every two hours so, it was ok. I'm going to miss the food though. June 13 What a day!  We did a lot of stuff! we ate breakfast off course and then we went to the American red cross! That was really interesting! I learned allot and im interested in volunteering at the red cross! It would be nice to help people that went threw a natural disaster.  We also learned self defense. So now I'm closer to being ready for any thing that comes to me.  Which is a good feeling when your walking down a lonely street. After that we just had some free time and we ate popcorn !  My favorite!! then I went to sleep!! And I dreamed! the end Today, we woke up and ate breakfast. After eating, we went to class, and after class, we ate lunch. After that, we had a field trip to the American Red Cross. We had a tour of the place, and I thought that it was very interesting. And then, after the tour we left and went back to College of Saint Mary, and ate dinner. Then we had a photo experience of Katrina. Rebekah, showed us interesting pictures of her experiences, and how she helped out. Right after that, we went to a separate room to learn about self defense. We went back to  our rooms after the self defense lessons and we relaxed. June 14 today we did something I haven't done in a really long time!  We went on a river cruise! We were on the boat for an hour and a half!! I almost got sick but I managed to keep my cool. Any way we also went to Creighton University to see the Border Line project.  It really got me thinking about how much my raza really suffers just to cross a simple wall.  It really really surprised me!  I will probably never stop thinking about it .  Today, I woke up early because I wanted to take an early shower, you know, and I was excited because we were going to go on a cruise. So we ate breakfast, went to class, and after that, we went on the cruise. It was fun because we were just hanging out and we somehow started dancing. So when the boat ride was over, we went back to the College, and took a Yoga class. I t was really relaxing. I needed a class like that because I was really stressed out. So after the Yoga class, we got to decorate picture frames. After that, we went to dinner. And during dinner, we had a speaker who's name is Patricia Castro. After that, we went straight to the Dorms, where we got knocked out and fell right to sleep. June 15 When I woke up today i had to take a shower! I was really tired!!  But my roommate didn't let me go back to sleep so I had no choice. We went on a field trip to Channel 3 news station. It was pretty cool! I didn't know how hard it was to be a meteorologist! Its hard to spell to! Any way  well that's all for now     Adios Today, I woke up, and I was feeling really hungry. So I couldn't wait to go to breakfast. So we went to breakfast and right after breakfast, we went to class. After class we took another field trip over to the Channel 3 News. And after that, we went back to the college and had a pizza party and had a talk about " Latinas, to be, Or not to be". After all of that, we had relax time and we went to sleep. June 16 today like 9 girls slept in one room!  We didn't fall asleep till like 5:30am so I only got like 3 hours of sleep! I had to take a shower today to so I was dieing in the shower cuz it was really warm!!!!Any way I can't wait to graduate!  even though my mom won't be here to see me . I'm kind of disappointed. I don't know if my dad is coming. I really hope he does. I'll understand if he doesn't because he works allot. Any way right now I'm trying to finish up this project but I have no idea what to say just that I'm glad I came because at first I didn't want to come But I'm really glad I did now. I met allot of wonderful girls Today, I slept in Amor's room, but I wasn't the only one. there was others as well. So I woke up and I changed, I'm going to take a shower later to get ready for the Graduation Celebration. Right now I am in the technology class (obviously) and I'm working on this (Obviously). So, later I'm going to dress up and pack up because today is my last day. I really learned a lot today and I am really going to miss this place. I met a lot of news people and finally learned what my pink shirt says (It was like in Portuguese) or something. But what can I say, we will grow up to be successors. We will all be leaders in the future.
