| I am a student at Benson High. I was born in
Guanajuato Mexico. I live in Omaha NE. When I found out on the letter I got
excited and I think I will have fun. I like to play soccer and volleyball. I
came here when I was nine years old and we were pretty much poor but now
were not and I am so proud of my parents because If it wasn't for them I
would not be here. I'm going to be 15 in September. so I pretty much don't
do fun stuff and I don't hang around with friends because they don't let me.
any ways my sister likes to play soccer and she is pretty good at it. she is
probably going to go to College of Saint Mary. Latina
Academy 2006 was the best of everything I have ever done in my whole life. I
had a lot of fun even they feed us a lot , and we had
pretty much boring classes. |
Hi my name is Cristal and I attend at Lexington High school
in Lexington Nebraska. How I found out of Academia Latina was from my
sisters friend. I was pretty excited to find out that I was selected to
participate. One thing I really like to do is singing and running track. I
will be entering 10th grade next yr. I've been living in Lexington my whole
life considering I was born there. I also love to listen rock music while
I'm doing something, without music I would probably be bored all the time.
Both of my parents are originally from Mexico. My daddy is from Michoacan &
my Mommy in Tampico. I also attend in Marching Band for the first semester
of school. I play the flute, I've been playing for 5 yrs. So yeah this a
good chance for me to experience something new. |
