1. Create a web page "diary" that shows and describes activities you do each day.  You may add pictures to the journal if you choose..  You may place extra pictures on your Photos page.

On Monday we got up at 8:00 and ate breakfast in the dining room.  We viewed a video about weather, and made barometers. We started our web sites.  Ours is about drought.

2. Natural Disaster Experts

  1. You and your partner have chosen a natural disaster to explore.

  2. Use this graphic organizer as a guide when exploring information about your natural disaster.

  3. Use the links to explore information about your natural disaster.

  4. Place your information in the cells of the graphic organizer.

  5. Save your graphic organizer to your web file.

  6. Collect pictures of your natural disaster and in your web files.

  7. Be sure to credit all sites and sources of information or pictures.

  8. Convert your graphic organizer to "Outline" view

  9. Open MovieMaker and import the pictures and drawings you have collected.

  10. Using your outline as a guide, create a MovieMaker documentary to inform others about your natural disaster. You want to make a case for your natural disaster as being a serious threat to the community.
