Monday	Today, June 9th we woke up and got ready for breakfast than we came to Technology class than Science class. After that we had Lunch. Then we had a Scavenger Hunt around Campus. Then we got ready for Yoga and Soccer. After that we had Dinner. Then we decorated our pots then had a great Zumba Class. After that we went swimming and got ready for bed.
Tuesday	This morning we got up and got ready for Breakfast. Then we came to Technology Class. Then to Science and had an experiment and made some trash necklaces. After that we took a group picture then we headed to the bus for an exciting filed trip to Chalco Hill. We had lunch there then explore the nature. After the great exploration threw nature we headed back to Saint Mary. When we were back in campus we had a rest and relax time. Then we had dinner than Yoga. Than we had a presentation by Juana Acosta about the program she started "Green Team" to help her community recycle. After the great presentation we headed back to our rooms and just had some free time to rest, relax and just hang out with the other girls. After the exhausted day we got ready for bed.
Wednesday	Today we got up and got ready for some good breakfast. After that we headed for class. After having some very interesting classes we we had Lunch. After Lunch we went to the ZOO. At the ZOO we got a great tour behind the scenes. We saw Giraffes, tigers and the Sharks. After seeing those great animals it was time to head back and have Dinner. After Dinner we go stuck in the basement due to a tornado warning. During the tornado warning we had some great speakers. After the stressful time in the basement we went to our rooms and just hangout or relax. Then we got ready for bed.
Thursday	Today we have woke up after a long day yesterday. After that we went to Technology and Science class in Tech. we had to begin our Media Movie Maker for recycling. In Science we had to carry buckets of water that added up to 28 gallons of water to see hope much water we waste a day and help us realize that we should save water. We had plans to go along on a cruise along the Missouri River but, got cancelled at the last minute due to the tornado last night. We went to a wonderful park and ate lunch out side as some important Latina women came and talked to us about how a career can help you in life. We had rest time for a little bit and later attended Self-Defense at the fitness center and we both learned different defensive skills to protect our self's from violence. Today we had a Pizza Party and it was fun being around many people our own age and talking about our future decisions and goals.
Friday	Angie: Today is a sad and fun day to me because its our graduation day and I cant wait to go hope but, at the time I am sad because I got to know many Latina girls that are the bomb. I will defiantly miss my roommate Hazel and Laura too. I will also miss a lot the other Latinas from Omaha, Iowa, California and Missouri. Today I have finished up our Media Movie Maker for our graduation presentation and hopefully It turns out great. I will try to defiantly come back next year because this academy is a really cultural experience and a realizable group that helps you in better ways of how to change your community as a better environment. Hazel: Today is very sad its out last day!!! =( This was a good week I got t meet a lot of great Latinas just like me. I also learned a lot of things about our environment. We are finishing everything for Graduation tonight. This was a fun and great experience and I hope i can come next year. We also had great Latina speakers. We had the best STAFF ever they were really helpful and nice. I'm going to miss everybody so much, especially my roommate Angie. I hope to stay in touch with all of them because every they are some of the best Latinas I have ever meet. Well hopefully you I will be hear next year. And thank you for this opportunity.
