| Monday |
Melissa-
I loved technology and science class.
The dance class and yoga was a lot harder then I expected but it was fun.
The best part of the day was when we played soccer and I scored points
ˇWahoo! Overall it was a good first day. P.S- I miss
all my friends in the outside world. LoVe Ya :) Laura- I really enjoyed it I had lots of fun playing soccer we tied and I hope we play again so we can untie. After ward we went to dinner then we went to learn how to dance Latin music. We painted some pots based on our roots. Then last but not least we went swimming it was so much fun I can't wait till we go again. |
| Tuesday | Today we made jewelry out of tin cans in science class it was fun and challenging. We went on a hike to Chalco Hill. It was nice to go out and see nature. We came back and had dinner then we did yoga it was relaxing after a good meal. Juan Acosta showed us a presentation about recycling and Global Warming many of us were impacted by it. That was what we did all day. |
| Wednesday | We went to the zoo. It wasn't like a usually trip to the zoo we went behind the scenes. We also learned about job careers. which was really cool because no one else got to see the zoo from the other point of view. This same evening we were stuck in a basement for a few hours which was not the best way to end the day was fun any ways. |
| Thursday | Today was a awesome even though we did go on the cruise on the Missouri river. Instead we went to a park to have lunch and some Latin women went to talk to us. We came back and we had a self defense class. We learn many thing for our safety. After that we had a pizza party man I ate so much I felt like a pig. Then we got in groups and made a skit about successful Latin women. Many girls are good at acting, it was so much fun. Maria Luisa's nephew came to talk to us about what he does to help save the world. It was really interesting and we got information on how we can get something started in our own schools. |
| Friday | Wow! We can't believe that today is the last day in CSM this
week went by so fast. We are going to miss all the girls we got to meet in
just one week.
