Day 5:  Class Competition Bowling

Objectives:

?         To have a competition with the class about who can bowl the best with the best formation and the most accurate score keeping.

?         To stretch effectively and efficiently.

Activity:

The students will come into class and stretch so they don't hurt themselves.  They will then divide into teams of 4 and get ready for some competition with their other classmates.  The students will bowl and keep score with each other and the team with the highest and most accurate score will be the winners.

Formation:

The students will have score cards and be able to use them to keep score for their teams.

Cues:

The students will be given a few rules when starting about foot faults and sportsmanship.  They will also be expected to behave in an orderly manner.

Evaluation:

I will evaluate the students on how they have progressed over the course of the week.  Hopefully, the students will go and bowl by using the correct formation and the correct score keeping.
