Hello, my name is Akila Amira Allen.  Welcome to my CSM Education Home Page.  I am a triple major in education in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Middle School with endorsements in Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.  I have one child named Ashari Ayana Allen, she is my pride and joy.  I enjoy playing with her, watching television, bowling, babysitting, singing, dancing, and just being me.  I attend the College of Saint Mary where I live on campus and am apart of numerous clubs.  I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., SEAN (Student Education Association of Nebraska), the Forensic Science Club, Student Senate, and the Retention Leadership Council.  I am also a recipient of the Thea Bowman Scholarship Foundation.  After graduation I plan to move to Arizona and teach for the public school system.  My ultimate goal is to open three business throughout the United States, teach and/or administer on school boards and be a nurse in my spare time.  I will keep you updated and let you know how that's going!!
