| My name is Ashley Smith
and I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I am majoring in Elementary and
Special Education at College of Saint Mary. I would love to
teach Severe and Profound Special Education with older aged
students. I have been involved with teaching for the majority of
my life, and would not want to do anything else. I started with
helping my mother teach the children at the daycare she ran at
her house, moved onto teaching religious education classes and
was involved in an internship at J.P. Lord my senior year in
high school. To me, there is nothing better than seeing the look
on a child's face when they know that they are learning
