Hello! My name is Brooke Edwards. I am currently a student at the College of Saint Mary in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program. Upon graduation I hope to be able to teach natural science to high school school students in the Omaha Metro Area.

I have lived in the Omaha area for 6 years. My previous education includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a major in Psychology and a minor in Women's studies.

Prior to pursuing a career in teaching I worked as a social worker. I feel very fortunate to have found a niche for myself in a line of work where I am able to make a contribution to my community. I look forward to becoming a teacher where I might have an opportunity to make an impact on the young people who will one day become the leaders of our nation.
