Introduction
Find your detective hats and join me in cyberspace to discover a method for
solving the mysteries of the world! Well, maybe not all the mysteries but at
least a few. Using the Web allows you to discover tons more than you may have
ever known possible. Below is a list of questions about the Scientific Method.
Surf the Internet links on this page to find answers to the questions. Don't
forget to answer the 'Big Question' at the end! Remember to have fun!

The Big Question
Describe a way that you can use the Scientific Method to solve an everyday
mystery. Some examples would be:
1. Why won't the lights turn on?
2. Why didn't my alarm clock wake me up?
3. Why am I late to school everyday?
You may use one of these examples or come up with your own but remember to
utilize the Scientific Method to solve your mystery! (Include the problem, a
hypothesis, and a description of what you would do to test your hypothesis. In
other words describe your experiment.)
