Hello my name is Denise Farr. I am originally from Omaha, but I was raised in California. I moved back to Omaha when I was 17 years of age. I have had a good life since I have grown up! I am now married to a wonderful and supportive husband. We have been together now for 17years. We have 4 beautiful children. I live in the country raising lots of animals including: chickens, ducks, doves and rabbits.

 I have been employed for the past 10 years as a custodian at a nearby school, Platteview Central. I have learned a lot since I have been working there. Even though its a very demanding job I have enjoyed it. Within the time I have been working there, I have been exposed to the students on a daily basis. This began my desire to become a teacher. There is a great staff there. They have encouraged and influenced my decision to go back to school after all these years. I have been blessed with support from both my family, friends and co workers. I believe I  have my work cut out for me, but I plan on giving it the old college try.
