These are some of my favorite links that have great ideas, references, and tools for educators and children.

 

Early Childhood Links:

http://www.starfall.com  A fantastic website for children to assist with reading and phonics. It is a great website, very informational, easy to navigate and the content validity is fantastic.

www.hwtears.com  A website on handwriting. There is an administrators, teachers, therapist and parent link so anyone can use it.

www.funbrain.com  A website for all occasions. It has links to math, reading and arcades and games.

www.kbears.com Stands for knowledge bears. It is a website about science, geography and animals just to name a few. Teachers can use this material to teach from.

http://www.storylineonline.net/ This is a website is dedicated to reading. This web site reads books aloud to children and there are activities and lesson plans that are available.

http://www.zoobooks.com/animalsatoz.aspx This website is all about Zoobooks from A-Z. It encourages reading and kids love these books.

http://pbskids.org/games.html  A website that offers games and interactive play for kids favorite television shows such as Clifford or Arthur.

www.funbrain.com A website for children to play games and learn while they are playing.

www.kbears.com  Stands for knowledge bears. It is a website that kids can play games and learn informational facts.

http://www.storylineonline.net/ This is a website dedicated to reading. This  web site reads storybooks aloud to children. 

http://www.zoobooks.com/animalsatoz.aspx This website is all about Zoobooks from A-Z. It encourages reading and kids love these books.

http://www.pegang.com/funandgames/pegangadventure/ A website for children to play games that are interactive.

www.history.com The history channel website and it offers lesson plans for educators.

www.wonderville.ca A teacher resource for learning activities. Activities are interactive.

http://clerkkids.house.gov/index.html A website for social studies

www.pbsteachers.org A website that serves as a resource for teachers.

 

Lesson Planning Links:

http://www.teacherplanet.com/calendar/11-NOV-07. A website that has resources from A-Z on lesson planning and other additional information.

http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php Rubric maker for educators.

 

Middle School Links

http://www.students.resa.net/stoutcomputerclass/1math.htm   A website with a multitude of math information for middle school. This website was okay to navigate but difficult to return to home page once you linked onto another site.

 

State Standard Links:

http://www.nde.state.ne.us/ndestandards/AcademicStandards.htm This is the link to all the standards in teaching. Feel free to browse your specified area.
