Spring Break Service Trip 2005
In
March of 2005 I was one of a group of 10 who went down to Austin, Texas over
spring break. Our spring break was spent volunteering for Habitat for
Humanity. This is probably the best experience I have had thus far in
my college career. Below are a few pictures of the experiences I had. |

On the
left is a picture of the group (minus Peter who is acting as photographer)
before we went out for a night on the town. It can't be all work and
no play. |

On the right is a picture of
Regina and I. We are busy, as always, painting some trim to go on one
of the houses. Notice how we got almost as much paint on ourselves as
we got on the trim. |

Habitat for
Humanity, Omaha
I have also been involved
with Habitat for Humanity in Omaha. It was a great feeling to be in
Texas and know you are helping a family, but it is also great to be knowing
you are helping someone close to home. Below is a picture of a group
of us after putting the siding on the house behind us. |
