The Relay for Life
is a wonderful experience that I think everyone should experience at least
once in their life. I have been on the CSM Relay for Life team for the
past two years.
The purpose of relay for life is simple:
1. Trying to get donations for the purposes
of cancer research. 2. Giving people faith and strength in their
battles with cancer.
The Relay for Life is a moving
experience. Seeing all of the luminaries lit around the track with the
names and pictures of people who have lost their battle with cancer is sad.
But, watching all of the other people who have survived cancer walk around
the track gives you hope that someday there will be a cure.
