The second half of my student teaching was spent in a K-6 Special Education classroom. The students in my classroom had a variety of needs and disabilities. I worked in a very collaborative environment and conducted several IEP meetings. A project I was working on during this portion of my student teaching used the PENS writing strategy in my classroom. My project, student work samples, and results are given below.
