For teachers, this website is useful because there are many classroom resources with lesson plans dealing with endangered animals and ancient Chinese civilizations to name a few. There are amazing photos that are beautifully enhanced and global sites for those who chose to coast around the world. The National Geographic website helps those who want to get an inside look on what is happening around the world.
This website is a great resource for teachers, especially for those just entering the field. It divides each section in grade levels and has various grade level appropriate activities for each subject in school. It also has multicultural activities for things like: Black History Month, St. Patrick’s Day, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The website has Pre-K through high school lesson plans as well as read and color pages. There is also numerous pages for ESL teachers who themselves are learning a new language or are teaching it to their students. Not only does this website have lesson plans, but there are various test prep activities and puzzles that can help teacher’s asses their students with their critical thinking skills.
