| My teaching career began
at
Omaha Bryan High School with retired teachers in the
classroom everyday until I had enough hours to get my provisional
certification. I did this through Fast Track to Teaching at the
College
of Saint Mary. I
guess that was all it took. I could not stop there. I continued in
the masters of education program and received my M.S.E. with
specializations in ESL and Assessment Leadership. It is true that
the more I learn the more I realize I don’t know. I plan to continue
on until I earn my Ph.D. After four years at Bryan High, I decided to
switch schools and districts. I am now in my third year at Andersen Middle School. Working
with middle school students has been the best experience of
my life. I have truly discovered how "right" my mother was! |
