From Fall 2002 to Present Service to College of Saint Mary and Community: · Special Olympics Nebraska- o Area 6 Management Team (AMT) volunteer (now East Regional Management Team (RMT) Fall 02 - Present Ø Leadership Conference. Fall 04, Fall 05, & Fall 06 Ø Public Relations Coordinator. Fall 04 - Fall 05 Ø Fundraising Manager. Fall 05 - Fall 06 Ø CSM volunteer Coordinator. Fall 05-Present o Volunteered at Area 6 competitions year round (about 260 hours per year). Fall 02 - Present o Assistant Volley ball Coach. Fall 03 o Coordinated Polar Bear Plunge fundraising at CSM. Fall 04 o Facilitated in getting two Special Olympics events hosted by CSM on campus. (Volleyball and Aquatics Competition). Fall 02- Spring 05 o Volunteered with Theraplayce (daycare for special needs children). Spring 03 - Spring 04 · Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts. o Initiated relief efforts on campus. Fall 05 o Transported relief items to Louisiana. Fall 05 o Volunteered at the relief shelters in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Fall 05 o One of five students pied in the face for Katrina fundraising. Fall 05 o Katrina relief to Bayou LaBatre’ Spring Break Trip. Spring 06 · Adaptive Swimming Instructor for special needs children. Fall 04 & Spring 05 · Operation Secure Metro- o Participated in mock terrorist attack.
