Creativity is the key to
individuality. It is relaxing to our mind and body. It has been
getting lost and forgotten about in today's society. Why is creativity
important? It gives us a chance to express ourselves without criticism
or fear. It enables us to listen to our hearts and think about our
feelings. Children experience something amazing when they create.
It is something we cannot give them. They have to discover it on their
own. Give children the opportunity to create with paint, writing,
instruments, and performing arts. Help them to discover their feelings
and emotions through the process of creation. This experience helps
children to calm themselves after a frustrating day which reduces behavior
problems. It also helps you to connect with them by discussing the end
result. When incorporating creativity into lesson plans use it
as only one part of your curriculum. Let students demonstrate learning
through art. They also need the opportunity to create without a
prompt. Make sure you set aside time and space for creative
exploration. You will be amazed at what you discover. |
