Our second grade superstars have been busy at work with their tsunami efforts. This project was created by your children and it is being followed out by your children.  Each student has signed up for a committee of their choice.  There is the hand out committee, the publicity committee, and the collection committee.  The superstars have raised $80 so far.  Give your Super Star a big thumbs up for all their hard work and dedication.  If you would like some more information on our tsunami project please e-mail me. 

There are a couple of items we will need throughout this month.  We are asking for tins so that we may begin planting seeds in class (Coffee and Formula cans work the best).  We are also asking you to go shopping with your superstar for packets of seeds.  This will be a great spring activity for you.  The students can pick out any seed of their choice (from tomatoes, to pansies).  Each child will need one tin and one packet of seeds.  We are looking forward to planting!
