Show students examples so they know what to do.
Give students a checklist or worksheet for what they need on the
brochure.
Show websites in which students can use.
Review how to use Microsoft Publisher.

Research a biome.
Complete a biome research worksheet.
Complete a Microsoft Publisher brochure on selected biome using template.
Closure
Compare biomes on board and ask them which would be best to visit.
Explanation
I chose this lesson
about biomes because it is a fun and creative way to learn about science and
biomes. It can also be changed so students just make brochures on paper if they
can’t use the technology because it isn’t available. I chose the website for the
students to research because it is easy for children to use.
