Unit Evaluation

EVALUATION OF JOURNALS

Journals will be checked for content on the following:

	Reading response for each Reading Assignment
	Characterization of at least two characters
	At least five new words or word and phrases Matt and Attean are learning
	They must write about what they read for the day from at least one of the other character's Point of View
	They are to find at least three of their own examples of figurative language.

RESEARCH TOPIC

Students will be evaluated on the oral report they give in class on the topic they selected from the Internet Resource Page or any other teacher approved topic. The content and delivery of their own material will be evaluated as well as their ability to listen to others' presentations.
