Sarah P. Vaughn 

I was born and raised in Omaha, NE.  I graduated from Hastings College in Hastings, NE in May of 2008 after receiving my B.A. in English literature and theatre arts. While in Hastings I gained a wealth of knowledge from both the theatre and English departments.  I learned not only about the subjects for my majors, but also about myself. 

 

While in Hastings, I became a member of the Hastings College Peer Umbrella Network (PUN).  While involved in PUN for three years, I felt myself grow more as a human being.  During the first semester of each school year, PUN members would go into the different freshmen orientation classes to teach about different aspects of student life.  I firmly believe that it was this introduction to teaching that really cemented my decision to become a teacher.

I received a Master of Arts in Teaching from the College of Saint Mary.  I look forward to begin this next chapter in my life.  I am an outgoing and vivacious teacher for high school students.  I have always wanted to be a teacher and cannot wait to begin this career.  Please direct any comments or questions to sarah.p.vaughn@gmail.com.
