The process of creating a website has been a technology journey for me. The Educational Technology class has made the most significant impact on my education. I am a technology immigrant due to the fact that I did not grow up with the computer. I have had to learn to embrace technology and the benefits that far out weigh the frustrations of learning how to use it. I have been able to increase my approach and methods of teaching by being able to use technology. Having a digital portfolio has given me confidence to try new approaches with technology and see my growth over the past three years as an education student. It also provides a way to open communication with students and their families. I plan to continue to learn new ways to use technology, which will provide more opportunities for me to meet the needs of my students.
