The teacher will evaluate the students’ presentation and the labeled diagram.

Closure:

The end of the lesson will be the students’ oral presentation and a group review of the life cycle of the butterfly.

Explanation:

I chose this lesson plan for children to relate real life experiences to help learn the concepts of science by understanding the characteristics of living organisms and their life cycles. Butterflies are a very fun way to experience and see the physical changes that an organism goes through. I also believe in using technology to help reinforce their experience of knowledge of science.
